De-comment
The possibility to comment anything openly on this site has been turned off. It’s not a technical flaw, or one of character. It is that way on purpose. Once upon a time, when web publishing was restricted to a few technically able individuals, no one dreamed of commenting anothers work openly. Nowadays, we call whatever published to the internet “blogging”. A key ingredient of this is being able to comment anothers work. I think the term blog is deameaning and debases writing inasmuch at it becomes unclear exactly for who it is written.
Commenting is certainly a necessary part of any blog, but then again this is not a blog. Or at least I’d like it not to be. It is a personal notebook, reflecting my own views, ideas and lucid, or less so – theories, regardless of work, previous knowledge or any of the things that makes us into “us”. For reasons not entirely clear even to myself, the whole thing is indeed published to the net.
